Spyware and Malware

Spyware covers a broad category of malicious software designed to intercept or take partial control of a computer's operation without the informed consent of that machine's owner or legitimate user.  The reason that Spyware is so prevalent today is that there is financial gain involved.

Notice the small print that says "advertisement"?  Most of these companies use FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) to get you to purchase their products.

Before you purchase one of these products you probably should go through the Clean Your PC page and see if those FREE programs can fix what problems you are having.
